		<description>I haven&#039;t heard about Ecco.  Can you elaborate on it?  From my experiment, I found out what I suspected.  Most of these note-taking programs target specific aspected of note-taking (i.e Mind Manager for meeting notes, etc).  Another thing I found was that personal taste and preferences is very important.  I am typing up the post about the experiment and should have it posted in about a week.</description>

I&#039;ve used OneNote 2003, EverNote, MindManager and older tools (remember Ecco???) and haven&#039;t found one I like for all note-taking situations.  I&#039;m leaning back towards OneNote at this point, though I think MindManager is best when you&#039;re taking meeting notes that are displayed via projector.
