Onenote Powertoy: Tip for “Daily Journal” Powertoy
This post comes straight from AdminID from OneNote Powertoys (using it with his permission of course). Daily Journal is a OneNote powertoy that automatically creates a new “journal” post for each day, thus allowing people to use OneNote as a personal diary, journal. If you use Daily Journal and the Stationary option in OneNote, then this will be useful.
Tip: Andy Gray’s Daily Journal PowerToy doesn’t work with Stationary, but to get around this you can create a “template” to copy/paste each day. Create a blank page and add all the blocks you need or copy the contents from a stationary page. Then each morning use “Windows Key - J” to create a new daily journal page and Copy/Paste from your “template”. You won’t be able to use all the formatting functions of real stationary, but the Windows Key - J function will go to Today’s page instead of creating a new one.
